Data Innovations® (DI) is providing advanced notice of product changes for Instrument Manager (IM).

IM versions 8.16.20 and older will reach End of Life (EoL) January 1, 2026.

What does this mean for your organization?

DI will only provide cybersecurity updates, driver enhancement requests, new drivers, services, product enhancements and address Known Issues in currently supported and maintained versions of IM.

What do you need to do?

It is important to schedule an upgrade to the latest Instrument Manager version in advance of January 1, 2026, if your IM version is 8.16.20 or older. There is no additional software cost to upgrade to IM 2023 with a valid Maintenance and Support agreement. Data Innovations wants our customers to have the best experience with Instrument Manager, which is why we encourage you to take advantage of our newest version.

  • Version Calculator: Review our version calculator to see the list of new features you’ll receive when upgrading to IM 2023. For future reference the version calculator also includes the published End of Life (EoL) dates.
  • Upgrade Services: DI offers upgrade services to assist your site with upgrading to IM 2023. DI recommends scheduling a services engagement as soon as possible to ensure project completion in advance of the January 1, 2026, date.
  • Contact your DI sales team representative to request a software upgrade, a quote for a DI Professional Services upgrade project, or to receive a copy of the IM validation guidebook. The validation guidebook will assist sites that choose to perform upgrades without DI Professional services.
